Dispositivos USB que se muestran como de solo lectura

Pregunta:

Estoy usando Ubuntu 14.04.

Tengo una memoria USB FAT32 de 8 GB y una unidad de disco duro FAT32 de 500 GB; ambos se han convertido repentinamente en dispositivos de solo lectura.

Intenté eliminar el directorio dentro de /media y luego crearlo nuevamente, renombrarlo y luego otorgarle permisos completos a ese directorio. Sin embargo, esto no funcionó.

Ejecute este comando para matar a Nautilus (archivos):

killall nautilus
